About PathItalia

In Italy, the driving theory exam can only be taken in Italian — or, in the protected linguistic regions, in French or German. There is no version in English, Bangla, Arabic, Urdu or any other language spoken by the people who most need a licence to work.

An entire publishing industry sells bilingual study manuals in eight languages. Bangla is not one of them. I live in the Rome area, home to one of the largest Bangladeshi communities in Europe, and Bangla is my first language. So I built this.

What this site is

Free guides and free study tools, explaining the Italian licence process in a language you actually read. Every number on this site — how many questions, how many minutes, how many mistakes you are allowed, how long the foglio rosa lasts — is checked directly against the Ministero delle Infrastrutture e dei Trasporti and the Portale dell'Automobilista, and the source is linked. Never against another blog.

What this site is not

It is not a driving school, not an insurance broker, not a government service and not connected to any Italian public body. It cannot book your exam, file your paperwork or influence your result. If a site tells you it can guarantee you a licence, walk away.
